THE DESIGN

Make a striking architectural statement with this highly sought-after vintage Lane "Pueblo" credenza. Heavily inspired by the iconic sculptural works of Paul Evans, this piece is a masterpiece of American Mid-Century Modern Brutalist design. The facade features deeply carved, three-dimensional geometric oak blocks arranged in a captivating "mosaic" pattern that catches the light and adds immense texture to any room.

Highly functional and beautifully crafted, this piece offers massive storage capacity. It features six spacious exterior drawers on smooth-gliding tracks, alongside two central cabinet doors that open to reveal three additional hidden interior drawers. The top surface showcases a stunning, sweeping cathedral oak wood grain.

Condition Note: This is a genuine vintage item being sold strictly "as-is." It carries the beautiful, natural patina of a piece with a half-century of history. Founded in 1912 in Altavista, Virginia, Lane Furniture originally built its reputation on high-quality cedar hope chests before becoming a powerhouse of American Mid-Century Modern design. During the 1960s and 1970s, Lane introduced several iconic, highly collectible furniture lines—such as Acclaim, Rhythm, and Pueblo—bringing high-end, designer-inspired aesthetics into the American home. Today, vintage Lane pieces are incredibly desirable among collectors and interior designers for their exceptional build quality, striking veneers, and timeless appeal.
