THE DESIGN
Crafted from warm, richly grained walnut, this two-piece vintage showcase offers versatility as both a display piece and a storage buffet.
-
The Upper Breakfront Hutch: Features four glass-front doors with distinct vertical framing and delicate, original brass pulls. It opens to spacious shelving perfect for displaying fine china, barware, or a curated vintage collection.
-
The Lower Credenza Base: Showcases the Brasilia design language with sweeping "catseye" arches on the flanking cabinet doors. Three deep central drawers offer ample dining room or living room storage, accented by the line's iconic brass hardware and anchored by tapered legs.
This set pairs well with others from the Broyhill Brasilia dining collection, such as the Broyhill Brasilia Dining Table and the Set of 6 Vintage Broyhill Brasilia Walnut Dining Chairs.
THE STORY
This authentic vintage Broyhill Brasilia breakfront china cabinet hutch features the elegant design language of one of the most sought-after and celebrated collections in Mid-Century Modern (MCM) American furniture history. Debuting at the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, the Broyhill Brasilia collection was famously inspired by the futuristic, sweeping architecture of Oscar Niemeyer in Brazil's capital city. Today, it remains a treasured staple for vintage collectors and interior designers alike.
