The Design

:: Minor medallion buffered by two sprawling oversized cloudband contoured design elements atop a heavily abrashed ground. Main border in a geometric cartouche design motif with interior Samovar and blossom design motif. Colors and shades include: Beige, sand, oxidized silver, charcoal, silver, chocolate brown, coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Secure sides, fully secured ends. One end measures 7' whereas the opposing measures 7'5". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Machine bound sides. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Khoy carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 7'5" x 10'6".
